Bushpop is committed to ensuring a smooth, secure shopping experience. This policy outlines the shipping standards and requirements that protect both buyers and sellers on our platform.

Approved Couriers and Tracking

For both the seller and the buyer to be protected, order must be sent through approved Australian couriers with tracking. Approved couriers include Australia Post and Sendle. These couriers provide reliable service with tracking, so you can follow your order from dispatch to delivery. Tracking is mandatory for all orders to ensure safe, accountable shipments.

Processing Times

Seller Processing Times: Processing times vary from seller to seller. Look for badges such as “Speedy Shipper” on seller profiles or check the a listing to for each seller’s estimated processing time. For new sellers, processing estimate will show the average processing time until the seller’s shipping history is established.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery estimates depend on the seller’s location, chosen courier, and the shipping destination. Typical delivery times for items shipped within Australia are:

  • Standard Domestic Delivery: 3–7 business days
  • Express Domestic Delivery: 1–3 business days
  • International Delivery (from Australia): 10–20 business days (varies by country and carrier)

Each listing provides estimated delivery time for domestic shipments. These are only estimates and are calculated using typical AusPost shipping times.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are set by sellers and depend on item size, weight, and destination. These are displayed at checkout as a flat rate based on the seller’s pricing.

Verification and Extended Delivery Times

Certain verification or authentication processes may slightly extend delivery times as the item is first sent to Bushpop for inspection to confirm it matches the listing description.

Insurance

To protect against potential loss or damage during transit, sellers are encouraged to add insurance to any order over $100 AUD. Insurance provides coverage in the event of transit-related issues and gives both buyers and sellers peace of mind.

Important: If a seller does not add insurance to an item over $100 AUD, Bushpop cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage during transit, and compensation may not be available if issues arise. Sellers should carefully consider insurance to avoid any potential financial loss.

Simplified AusPost Insurance Pricing:

First $100 of cover: Included at no extra cost
Additional $100 of cover: $2.50 per $100, up to a maximum of $5,000 total coverage

Example of Coverage Costs: For an item valued at $300, insurance costs would be:

  • $0 – $100 of value: No additional charge
  • $101 – $200 of value: $2.50
  • $201 – $300 of value: $5.00
  • Total Extra Cover Cost for $300 item: $5.00

Insurance must include tracking and proof of postage, and items must be securely packed to qualify for compensation. Certain items, such as hazardous goods or items seized by customs, may be ineligible for compensation if lost or damaged.

Delayed or Damaged Shipments

In the rare event of delays or damage, Bushpop is here to help buyers and sellers reach a resolution. If you experience a delay or receive a damaged item:

  • Report the Issue: Contact the seller directly for tracking updates or reach out to Bushpop Support with tracking details and relevant photos.
  • Resolution Process: Bushpop will work with the seller and courier to investigate and resolve the issue. Refunds or replacements may be provided based on the outcome of the investigation.

International Shipping

Sellers on Bushpop have the option to offer international shipping at their discretion. It’s good practice to message any seller before making an order that requires international shipping.

Restricted Items

For safety and compliance, certain items are restricted from shipment. These include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal Goods
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Weapons
  • Human Body Parts or Remains
  • Restricted Animal and Wildlife Products
  • Perishable Goods
  • Gift Cards

If a restricted item is listed or shipped in error, Bushpop reserves the right to remove the listing and issue a refund or replacement as per our Buyer Protection policy.

Exclusions and Consumer Rights

These exclusions do not limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
